The Ant Project is a non-profit organization inspired by the collective intelligence of ants, whose individuals, operating as a collective, achieve remarkable goals that would be impossible for a single member on their own. The Ant Project was born from the need to create a horizontal structure of interaction among artists and curators. Its aim is to facilitate interconnection between seemingly disparate individual practices, nurturing the creative process of the community as a whole.

We operate in three fields of action:
Collective intelligence drives our pursuit of collaboration with diverse communities, including institutions, foundations, galleries, and public spaces. Through these interactions, a common thread emerges, fostering an open and equitable dialogue among all voices.
In our search for ways to finance our project, we have been participating in art fairs such as Untitled Art Miami Beach and this year in Laguna Art Week, Mexico City. We have found that these avenues are not only a possibility of financing but also of bringing our thematic conversations to a large audience to create a synergy of interaction.
In 2023 we opened our first residency space in Coyoacán, Mexico City, to host international artists who seek to enrich their practice through a connection with Mexico's rich cultural and historical heritage, as well as immerse themselves in the vibrant art scene that Mexico City has to offer.
