I don't have the words to describe how impactful and generative this time was. It was full of conversation and warmth--from both dogs and people. And I made so much work, leaving with new friends, new collaborators, and a long list of questions that will keep me busy in the studio for years. I am so grateful to Guadalupe García for beliving in me and my work and for the invitation to share it with folx in Mexico City. I should also thank Natasa Prljevic for introducing me to Guadalupe. Natasa is the kind of person that wants her friends to be friends--a truly remarkable quality in our (frequently) hyper-competitive and resource hoarding art world!
